Our Bio
American by birth, Southern by the grace of God! We have four wonderful children, celebrated 30-years of marriage, and now it is our time. Belle Aurore is probably our last boat and we’ll share our travels here for family and friends. Life ain’t no dress rehearsal, and given enough breath we’ll go out like a runner stealing second base. Just make sure the headstone’s at the other end of the hole!
We are Robert and Lynn Jones. We are originally from Camden, AL and were raised on the Alabama River and Gulf. We have been living in the West(away from water) for a number of years and are ready to move back to the river. Our property is sold here and we await closing. We have lake property and a camp on the Alabama River where we will return and base our travels from. We have researched trawlers for over a year and have “almost” decided that the LRC 48 is the best of all compromises. Our goal is to loop and Gulf some, but mainly to live part/full time on the South American Coast. Like most folks, our budget does not allow for a million dollar boat, but our tastes are for quality. I am a craftsmen and mechanic and can work on about anything. Would be bored if all was 100%. We would surely appreciate any input you would like to share. Thank you!
